Chinese Academy of Sciences Holdings Co.,Ltd．("CAS HOLDINGS" for short) is a wholly state-owned company. It was established on April, 12th, 2002, under the authority of the State Council of the P.R.China and in compliance with the Company Law of the People's Republic of China.It is capitalized by the CAS on behalf of the P.R. China. On behalf of the CAS, CAS HOLDINGS exercises the investors' rights for the state-owned operating assets within the wholly-owned, share holding and joint-stock companies which are capitalized by the CAS. It is also liable for preserving and increasing the value of the assets.
Authorized by the CAS, CAS HOLDINGS exercises the rights of supervision and administration over the operative state-owned capital, which is accessed by the enterprises belonging to CAS.
